Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Miles Bridges – Regardless of your contest (cash games, small-field GPPs, or large-field GPPs), Bridges is an excellent option. The Hornets have ruled out LaMelo Ball, Josh Green, Tre Mann, Grant Williams, Cody Martin, Brandon Miller, Mark Williams, and Tidjane Salaun. They draw a home matchup against the Nets, who are bottom 10 in both rebounding rate and points allowed per game. This is a great spot to load up on the Hornets. With Ball and Miller out, Bridges should dominate usage.

Dean78904: Jonas Valanciunas – The absence of Alex Sarr should clear the way for JoVal starting and grabbing mid-20s minutes. That should be enough run, as the former Raptor averages a robust 1.33 FD / 1.37 DK points per minute, and this is the 2nd-best matchup for post bigs according to our Defense vs. Archetype Matchup Tool. I’m not even sure they are a thing, but if they are, this lines up as a potential “showcase game” for JoVal with the trade deadline looming. Our NBA DFS optimizer is currently leaning Moussa Diabate over JoVal (and you can play them both on DK), but my current lean is JoVal if I can only choose one, as I just think he has the higher ceiling.

ncorfield8k: Scottie Barnes – Barnes has played more than 36 minutes in 5 of his past 10 games and fewer than 32 minutes in none of them. With the game tonight being in Washington, it does not have a huge spread and could be close throughout. Barnes could be playing big minutes in a great spot against a Wizards team that has been exploitable all season. The Wizards play at the 4th-fastest pace in the league and rank last in defensive rating.
