NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, March 18

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Julius Randle
Dean78904: Julius Randle
ncorfield8k: Nikola Jokic

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. We still have a lot of injury news that can and will impact the slate, but I have a good idea of what I’m going to do with most of my lineup. I’m going to lock in Julius Randle and Ayo Dosunmu, as they have the best matchups on the board. With Anthony Edwards out, Randle should dominate usage, and Dosunmu should see an uptick in minutes. I’m also going to roster Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray if one ends up being out. Given the matchup against Memphis, this could be a good spot to rest one or the other.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry, smaller-field types of contests. There is only one 7:00 PM ET game, and there is no one in that game that I feel like I MUST roster. If there is meaningful unsettled injury news hanging over the slate, I expect to intentionally skip the first game to buy myself 30 minutes of a potential news drop. Minnesota is inevitable with the combination of playing Utah and being without Anthony Edwards. I will have multiple T’Wolves in every lineup I make.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I’ll play a lot of Timberwolves, regardless of Naz Reid’s status. I’ll also be heavy on the Hawks, as I love to attack the Mavericks, and the Hawks are fairly priced. In their game last week against the Mavs, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Onyeka Okongwu, and Dyson Daniels all scored over 40 fantasy points, on top of Jalen Johnson scoring over 50. It doesn’t hurt that the Hawks have the latest start time on DraftKings.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
