What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. My plan of attack tonight is to play the blowout angle in the DEN/OKC game and hope that the NYK/BOS game stays competitive. We know what New York’s rotation is going to look like, and their players feel underpriced on both DraftKings and FanDuel. In terms of exposure, I’ll have the most to the Knicks, Celtics, and Thunder.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments -The mid-range is very strong on this slate, so I’ll likely play a lot of balanced lineups with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as my only player priced above $8,000 most of the time. As usual on short slates, I’ll lean into game stacks.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing one lineup in single-entry contests, with an “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach. Even with the NYK/BOS game going to overtime in Game 1, the DEN/OKC stack still worked out really well for me on the last slate these teams played. It’s tough, but it’s possible to stack Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander together without totally hating how your lineup looks, and that’s my strategy for Game 2.
