Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I love small-field and single-entry tournaments. We have a massive slate, with several superstars that have already been ruled out. On slates like this, there are a lot of great plays that fly under the radar. I’m going to eat some obvious chalk here and there, but I am going to be different in a few key spots. One of which is being overweight on the Pelicans.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field type of contests. We have a huge slate, with the big question being how to handle the shorthanded Cavs. I will be leaning in and expect to have at least 2 Cavs in every lineup I make. Additionally, I expect to have at least 1 Rocket in every lineup. Several of my favorite big spends on the slate are currently questionable (e.g. Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duren), so I won’t highlight them here, but if they are in, I love them. The good news is they all play at 7:00 PM ET, so we’ll know their status at some point pre-lock.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – This is a large slate with several Q tags on star players. I’ll vigilantly pay attention to the NBA injury report and changes to NBA starting lineups and late swap accordingly. I’ll have a lot of the MIL/CHA game, as it provides some of the best value on the slate and could be a close game with Giannis Antetokounmpo ruled out.
