Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Pascal Siakam – There’s a lot working in Siakam’s favor. He has averaged 49 fantasy points per game this season, with a usage rate of 30%. He’s playing at home against the Nets, who are 23rd in rebounding rate, 29th in points allowed per game, and 30th in defensive rating. He should dominate usage with Quenton Jackson, Bennedict Mathurin, Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard, Obi Toppin, and T.J. McConnell all out for the Pacers.

Dean78904: Jaylen Brown – Our Defense vs. Archetype tool is calling Washington the 2nd-best matchup for scoring wings, like Brown. The Boston wing very clearly has been the alpha for the Jayson Tatum-less Celtics, as he has the 4th-highest USG% in the NBA. The Wizards have the 3rd-worst defensive rating and play at a super-fast pace (2nd in the NBA), so you’re probably going to want some Boston exposure. I expect to play one of Brown, Derrick White, or Payton Pritchard in every lineup I make. If I have the salary, I’m looking to first get to Brown.

ncorfield8k: Jaylen Brown – Despite his high usage and ideal matchup, Brown isn’t projected to be chalky due to a plethora of options and a shaky start. There is some blowout risk in a game the Celtics are favored by double digits, but if the Wizards can keep it close, Brown should play big minutes (38 in his most recent game). It’s a top-2 matchup in our Defense vs. Archetype tool, and it’s a generally great game environment with the Wizards, who have the 3rd-worst defensive rating and have played at the 2nd-fastest pace this season.
