What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’m playing single-entry and 20-max GPPs today. The Clippers are really popping in projections thanks to their condensed rotation, and the matchup against the Nuggets’ 22nd-ranked defense is a favorable one. While Kawhi Leonard and James Harden can likely get there in the same game, I’m considering a max-2 rule for the Kawhi/Harden/Zubac/Powell quartet for tournament builds. I don’t want to put all of my eggs in the same LAC basket, especially with all 4 games on the slate featuring appealing plays.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests today. At first glance, the Clippers are popping in quite a few of our optimal lineups. I will be looking to James Harden as a core piece, and then I plan on having at least one Knicks player in each of my lineups. I love the tight rotations, and the price tags we get on most of the Knicks guys (such as OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and Jalen Brunson) are very reasonable. I think this game is appealing since it allows you to get away from some of the more popular plays.
