NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Sunday, March 15

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

tcsmith031: Deni Avdija
Krayton: Deni Avdija
TJ Zwarych: Deni Avdija

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: I’ll play a few single-entry GPPs. I want as much exposure to this horrifying UTA/SAC game as possible. The Jazz rotation has a lot of volatility, but you can easily make a case for 4 or 5 of them in a lineup with several of them priced under $4,000. The key is where you get your raw points. Russell Westbrook looks like a smash again if he suits up, while Deni Avdija, Jalen Brunson, and Donovan Clingan are a few of my favorite spends.

Krayton: I will be playing mostly single-entry contests on DK along with 20-max and smaller-field contests. I will lock Brice Sensabaugh into all my lineups, and then I will use several of the cheaper Jazz pieces in order to get at least two expensive players. My favorites are Jalen Brunson, Deni Avdija, OG Anunoby, and Donovan Clingan.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll play one lineup in single-entry GPPs. I plan to load up on as many Jazz players as possible. It would’ve been nice to combine tonight’s slate with yesterday’s, as it’s the polar opposite: We have all the value in the world but no one to spend up for. I’ll likely stack up the UTA/SAC game and then fill in the lineup with expensive pieces like Deni Avdija and one of the Knicks.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Epignosis
Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
