NBA DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Saturday, December 9
Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
tcsmith031: LeBron James looks completely rejuvenated as he gets closer and closer to his 39th birthday. LeBron’s 55% field goal percentage this season is his highest since his final season with the Heat, while his current 40% 3-point percentage is his best mark in the last 10 years.
Krayton: We get two teams that are in the top 10 for pace, with the Pacers ranked 1st and the Lakers ranked 9th. Anthony Davis is 2nd overall in the NBA for rebounds per game (12.7) and 2nd in blocks per game (2.7). Tyrese Haliburton is leading the NBA in assists per game (12.1), which is 1.5 assists more than the next closest player, Trae Young.
TastefulTides: These are two teams with very different styles. The Pacers are bottom 10 in defensive rating but rank 1st in offensive rating. The Lakers are top 10 in defensive rating but bottom 10 in offensive rating. One thing that these two teams do share is being up in pace. The Pacers are 1st, while the Lakers rank 9th. I expect this game to exceed its total.
TJ Zwarych: Any time the Pacers play, the game has an incredibly high total. The combination of lack of defense and incredibly fast pace have their games always turning into an offensive explosion. When it’s a pace-down spot for them, they always seem to force their opponents to play their style. Tonight, they face a Lakers team that likes to play uptempo as well.
