NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, January 31

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Nikola Vucevic

squirrelpatrol: Kawhi Leonard

headChopper: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Stevietpfl: Kawhi Leonard

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: You are going to see a lot of similar-looking lineups tonight, as the Mavericks are expected to be without Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Dereck Lively, Derrick Jones, and Dante Exum. While I plan to eat some of the Dallas chalk, I will be careful about how I construct my lineups. I’ll look for pivots away from the Mavericks punts when I am targeting the highly-owned superstars and will look to differentiate with my superstars on lineups where I have a lot of the Mavericks chalk.

squirrelpatrol: In terms of pOWN%, 4 of the 5 players projected to be the highest owned on FanDuel and the top 2 on DraftKings are Dallas Mavericks with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving out. However, it’s a tough matchup, with Minnesota allowing the fewest points per game in the NBA by nearly 2 points over the 2nd-best team (Knicks).

headChopper: With Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving out tonight, Dallas is missing almost 71 minutes per game, 15 assists per game, and over 43 field goal attempts per game. This doesn’t even take into account the other players who are likely to miss the game tonight as well (e.g. Dereck Lively, Derrick Jones, Dante Exum).

Stevietpfl: Sacramento is 26th in true shooting percentage allowed. They have the 2nd-highest opponent 3-point percentage. They’ve allowed 13.6 made 3-pointers per game and 16 per game over the last 3 games.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
