Want to hit the nuts and take down 1st place in these massive contests posted by FanDuel and DraftKings? Who better to walk you through their favorite NBA DFS picks than Squirrelpatrol! Undoubtedly one of the best DFS players in the game today, Squirrelpatrol has accumulated 90+ Live Final seats, won the FanDuel 2021 World Fantasy Basketball Championship for $500,000, and most recently, took down the NFL Milly Maker in Week 2. Should we roster the chalk picks? How off-the-board should we get in large-field tournaments? Squirrel answers all of these questions and more below!

The NBA continues its post-Christmas schedule tonight with six games on the slate. We have Toronto at the DFS-friendly (for opponents) Washington Wizards and Philadelphia (without Joel Embiid) at Orlando tipping things off at 7PM ET, and then one game in the 7:30PM slot with Milwaukee at Brooklyn. Phoenix is at Houston and the Knicks visit Oklahoma City at 8PM ET, then the last game of the night is Cleveland at Dallas at 8:30PM ET.

This is a massive slate for injuries, with Joel Embiid out for Philadelphia, and Brooklyn sitting Nic Claxton, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Cameron Johnson against the Bucks. Giannis is Questionable in that same game, and then the last game of the night features Cari LeVert and Donovan Mitchell listed as Questionable for Cleveland, while Kyrie Irving is out for Dallas, with Luka Doncic, Josh Green, and Tim Hardaway Jr. all listed as Questionable. As of right now, we really have no confirmation who will be playing in that Cleveland – Dallas game.

Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

NBA DFS Picks: Lineup Advice for Squirrelpatrol’s ‘Hittin’ The Nuts’ (December 27th)

This seems like a lot of article without a lot of certainty

It certainly is. With Giannis, Luka, and Donovan Mitchell all listed as Questionable, we have three of the top four players in terms of projection who may or not be playing, and if they’re out, this slate can suddenly look a lot different. Mitchell made shootaround (along with Caris LeVert) and Luka was able to play on Christmas, so my gut feeling is that they’ll play, while Giannis looks truly Questionable. With all of this in mind, here some players I expect to get a lot of in my lineups regardless:

Scottie Barnes
FanDuel: $9,800
DraftKings: $8,700
