NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Sunday, February 11th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. On weekends, jack-of-all-trades Taylor Smith takes the reins to break down builds for both cash games and GPPs. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Sources say there’s a rather big football game on TV today, though we’ve got a nice little 2-game NBA DFS slate first. Prize pools aren’t massive, but making a little extra NBA coin can help you build your bankroll ahead of that Chiefs-49ers clash later in the day.
The Heat will host the Celtics in the first game at 2 PM ET, while the Kings will visit the Thunder an hour later. Let’s dive right in, shall we?

News Updates
Here’s where I’ll update for news.
Team Previews
Boston Celtics (at MIA): Newcomers Jaden Springer and Xavier Tillman are the only Celtics missing from the lineup ahead of today’s battle with the Heat in Miami. Boston’s favored by 6 points on the road here, though their 116 implied team total is just the 3rd-highest on the slate. Jayson Tatum is the clear headliner here, especially at only $9,400 on DraftKings. He’s the team’s leader in usage (30.5%) and per-minute production (1.36). We’re not really getting huge discounts on Kristaps Porzingis, Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, or Jrue Holiday, but pretty much everyone is playable on such a short slate. I don’t mind looking to the Celtics’ secondary pieces as lower-owned differentiators in GPPs, while Payton Pritchard is cheap enough to fire off as a dart throw on a slate with limited cheap value.
