Memphis

The Grizzlies head to Utah in what should be a very low scoring game. These two teams rank 1st and 2nd in points allowed per game this season, which should result in a defensive battle tonight. With so many games on the schedule tonight, it’s safe to avoid this game altogether.

Opponent Breakdown (Utah)

Utah

The Jazz draw one of the most difficult matchups in all of daily fantasy basketball. The Grizzlies are ranked 2nd in points allowed per game and 5th in defensive efficiency this season. The Jazz are only projected to score 88 points tonight, which is one of the lowest team totals on the board tonight.

Minnesota

This game is a polar opposite of the MEM/UTA game. This game features the two worst defensive teams in the entire NBA. There will be very little defense played in this game tonight, which should result in some great fantasy outings from players on both teams. Even though this game doesn’t mean anything to either team, it is loaded with fantasy options.

Opponent Breakdown (L.A. Lakers)
Record: 20-58
Points Allowed Per Game: 105 (Rank: 29)
Defensive Efficiency Rank: 29
Rebounding Differential Rank: 17

Elite Plays

Zach LaVine (FD: $6100, DK: $5900 / MPG: 23 / Usage Rate: 22.1)

LaVine should see around 40 minutes of action tonight against the Lakers, who are ranked dead last against point guards this season. LaVine has played well over the last month or so and that should continue tonight in a game where defense will be absent. LaVine should be able to reach and exceed value at his price point and he’s a strong play in all league formats.

Secondary Plays

Andrew Wiggins (FD: $7500, DK: $6800 / MPG: 36 / Usage Rate: 22.3)

Kevin Martin (FD: $6800, DK: $6000 / MPG: 33 / Usage Rate: 26.6)

Justin Hamilton (FD: $5000, DK: $4800 / MPG: 16 / Usage Rate: 15)

L.A. Lakers

The Lakers will be without Jeremy Lin tonight, which means Jabari Brown will draw the start at shooting guard. The Lakers draw a fantastic matchup against the Wolves, who are ranked dead last in points allowed per game this season. Once again, don’t be afraid to load up on fantasy options from this game.

Opponent Breakdown (Minnesota)
Record: 16-62
Points Allowed Per Game: 106.2 (Rank: 30)
Defensive Efficiency Rank: 30
Rebounding Differential Rank: 26

Elite Plays

Jordan Clarkson (FD: $7800, DK: $6800 / MPG: 24 / Usage Rate: 22.9)

Clarkson may be a little too expensive on FanDuel, but he’s one of my favorite point guard options on DraftKings tonight. He has scored at least 32 fantasy points in six of his last seven games, topping the 38-fantasy point mark four times during that stretch. He will have all of the minutes at point guard, as Jeremy Lin has already been ruled out of tonight’s game against the Wolves.

Secondary Plays

Wesley Johnson (FD: $4500, DK: $4900 / MPG: 29 / Usage Rate: 16.4)

Ryan Kelly (FD: $4500, DK: $4200 / MPG: 22 / Usage Rate: 13.9)

Jabari Brown (FD: $3500, DK: $3400 / MPG: 26 / Usage Rate: 16.7)
