As if the Pelicans needed another injury. They are already extremely short-handed and now may be without Anthony Davis as he rolled his ankle against the Jazz last night and never returned. The Pelicans are 14 point underdogs tonight, but with how few active players the Pelicans have, there may be some solid plays here. Depending on injuries, Tyreke Evans, Anthony Morrow, Austin Rivers, Al-Farouq Aminu, Alexis Ajinca, and Greg Stiemsma are all in play tonight.
San Antonio
Never trust the Spurs on the back end of a back to back when they are 14 point favorites. While nothing is guaranteed, I am giving you full warning. If Coach Pop is going to rest or limit his starter’s minutes down the stretch, this is the perfect game to do it. Hopefully we will find out what Pop’s plans are before the first game tips off. If any of the veterans get the night off, don’t hesitate to target their backups against this weak Pelicans’ defense.
