Tuesday’s NBA slate features 11 games, including a potential NBA Finals preview at 8:00 PM ET on Peacock between the Celtics and Spurs.

As expected this time of year, the NBA injury report is quite lengthy. Ahead of tip-off, Stephen Curry, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid have already been ruled out. LeBron James and Tyler Herro are currently listed as questionable.

As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Jayson Tatum UNDER 30.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-107, DraftKings)

This past Friday, Tatum returned from his Achilles injury after 298 days away from the game. He impressed in 27 minutes, scoring 15 points while grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists. Still, he struggled with his efficiency, shooting only 6-for-16 from the floor against a Dallas team that ranks 23rd in defensive rating since the All-Star Break. Two days later, Tatum was similarly inefficient against a better Cleveland defense, finishing with 20 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 27 minutes.

Tonight, he will play his third game in five days since being activated – and it will be his toughest test yet.

The Spurs rank 5th in defensive rating since the All-Star Break and 3rd in defensive rating for the entire season. Their perimeter defense has been particularly good of late, limiting volume and success on above-the-break 3-point attempts, which is where Tatum has seen a high frequency of his scoring opportunities.

Tatum exceeded expectations against the Mavericks on Friday, but it remains to be seen how his body responds to playing every other day in high-intensity matchups. This is also the third different city he’s played in during the last five days, so he’s getting back into the grind of an NBA travel routine too.

Precious Achiuwa OVER 9.5 Rebounds (+102, FanDuel)

Achiuwa has been posting some gaudy rebound numbers of late, with at least 9 boards in 8 of his last 9 games. The underlying metrics have been strong in that span too – he’s had at least 15 rebounds chances in all 8 games that he’s had 9+ rebounds.

The Pacers have allowed the 10th-most rebounds per game since the All-Star Break. This is another great opportunity for Achiuwa to make an impact on the glass.

Donovan Clingan UNDER 10.5 Rebounds (-125, Hard Rock)

Clingan has been rebounding the basketball at a high rate in recent weeks, but he draws an extremely tough matchup against Charlotte.

Since the All-Star Break, the Hornets have allowed the 3rd-fewest rebounds per game overall and the 2nd-fewest rebounds per game to centers. When these two teams met on February 28th, Clingan was held to only 8 rebounds on 14 rebound chances. There is value on the under.
