Wednesday’s 9-game NBA slate will be headlined by an ESPN doubleheader beginning with the Warriors against the Celtics at 7:00 p.m. ET, followed by the Lakers against the Rockets.
As expected, the NBA injury report is busy tonight. Anthony Edwards, Michael Porter, and Aaron Gordon have already been ruled out. Chet Holmgren, Kawhi Leonard, and Andrew Nembhard are all listed as questionable as of this writing.
As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Wednesday, March 18th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Wednesday, March 18th:
- Kyle Filipowski Over/Under 7.5 Rebounds
- Luka Doncic Over/Under 31.5 Points
- Josh Giddey Over/Under 9.5 Assists
Kyle Filipowski OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-125, Hard Rock)
It’s not a secret that the Jazz have been aggressively participating in this year’s NBA tankathon. One player who has seen an expanded role down the stretch as a result of sitting the team’s best players is Filipowski.
Filipowski is averaging 10.3 rebounds per game this month and has played at least 25 minutes in 6 of 7 games in which he’s been active in March. Minnesota isn’t an ideal matchup for opposing forwards on the glass, but Filipowski has routinely been seeing 15+ rebound chances in recent weeks. This is a playable number.
Luka Doncic UNDER 31.5 Points (-112, FanDuel)
The Rockets defense hasn’t been elite since the All-Star break, but the one thing they have continued to do a good job of is limit clean looks to opposing guards. During the second half of the season, no team in basketball has allowed fewer field goal attempts per game to opposing guards. They have also done an excellent job playing defense without fouling, permitting the 2nd-fewest free-throw attempts per game to guards in that span.
Doncic is averaging 34.3 points during the month of March, but much of that is a result of a 51-point performance against the Bulls last Thursday. He’s only cleared this number in 4 of 9 games this month overall. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Houston keep him below this threshold on Wednesday.
Josh Giddey OVER 9.5 Assists (-140, FanDuel)
Giddey enters play on Wednesday having accrued 9+ assists in each of his last 8 contests. During that span, he leads the NBA with an incredible 22.4 potential assists per game – no other player is above 17.7.
The Raptors have allowed the 4th-fewest assists per game overall since the All-Star break, but they rank only 18th in assists allowed to guards. This isn’t as difficult of a matchup as it looks on the surface. Expect Giddey to keep hunting assists this evening.
