Happy Monday! All 30 NBA teams are in action to begin the new week, with a league-wide hiatus on tap for Election Day on Tuesday.

The NBA injury report is once again replete with big names. Tyrese Haliburton, Anthony Edwards, Ja Morant, Ivica Zubac, and Chet Holmgren are among the most notable names who have already been ruled out.

As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Below, you can find 3 of my favorite picks for Monday, November 2nd!

Best NBA Player Props for Monday, November 2nd

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Monday, November 2nd:

Nikola Jokic OVER 24.5 Points (-112, bet365)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBET365

Jokic is averaging only 21.2 points this season, but part of his decreased scoring output is a consequence of him shooting only 47.7% from the field. Jokic has not shot worse than 56.6% from the field in a single season since prior to the pandemic.

The Trail Blazers have allowed a league-high 54% field goal percentage on shot attempts in the paint this season, which is where a plurality of Jokic’s field goal attempts come from. We could see Jokic have one of his better scoring nights of the season tonight.

Kevin Durant OVER 21.5 Points (-107, DraftKings)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONDRAFTKINGS

Durant is averaging 22 points per game this season, but that number would likely be even higher if Houston wasn’t blowing teams out on such a regular basis. Durant scored only 14 points against the Thunder this past Saturday, but the Rockets won that game by 21 points, which limited Durant to only 27 minutes. Durant scored only 18 points in a 32-point victory over the Bucks last Wednesday.

In games decided by 10 points or fewer this season, Durant is averaging 23 points per game, having cleared this number in 3 of 4 such games.

Boston isn’t particularly great at defending the midrange, which is an area of the floor Durant loves to attack. This is a playable number for one of the league’s most efficient scorers.

Ryan Rollins OVER 12.5 Points (-112, bet365)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBET365

Rollins is only averaging 11.2 points per game this season, but he’s attempted at least 11 shots in all but 1 of Milwaukee’s first 6 games.

The primary issue for Rollins has been efficiency – he’s shooting only 34.2% from the field and 27.3% from long range. He’s a career 46.7% from the field and 40.1% from 3-point territory.

Assuming Rollins continues to see similar shooting volume, we should see his points per game increase as he starts to experience some positive shooting regression.
