Tuesday’s NBA slate is headlined by an NBC doubleheader, beginning with the Pistons against the Knicks at 8:00 pm ET, followed by the Trail Blazers against the Lakers.

Despite only four games on the schedule this evening, the NBA injury report is littered with notable names. Jalen Duren, Keegan Murray, and Tobias Harris have all been ruled out. Jayson Tatum, Paul George, and Mitchell Robinson are each listed as questionable, with Boston on the second leg of a back-to-back.

As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Tuesday, October 27th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on Tuesday, October 27th:

Devin Vassell OVER 11.5 Points (-116, DraftKings)

Vassell hasn’t cleared this number yet this season, but it’s likely only a matter of time before we see him put together a strong showing on the offensive end of the floor.

Vassell has averaged at least 13.9 points per game in each of his last 4 seasons, but he is averaging only 9.3 points through 3 games this season. His playing time has remained consistent with previous seasons, but matchups against the Thunder and Rockets have led to uncharacteristically inefficient shooting nights for Vassell.

Vassell is a 44.3% career shooter from the field, including 37.1% from long range. This season, he’s shooting only 38.5% from the field and 30.8% from deep. Some positive shooting regression against a defensively challenged Sacramento team should allow him to flourish.

OG Anunoby OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-135, Novig)

Anunoby averaged 5.2 rebounds and 7.4 rebound chances per game last season. This season, he’s averaging 6.0 rebounds and 10.3 rebound chances per game through 3 contests.

Anunoby has posted 7+ rebound chances in each of New York’s first 3 games and gets a good matchup at home against a Detroit team that won’t have Jalen Duren available.

Anunoby should have opportunities to get to 5 boards. ScoresAndOdds has him projected for 5.3 rebounds.

Jalen Brunson UNDER 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-177, Novig)

Brunson averaged 7.0 3-point attempts per game last season, but he hasn’t seen anywhere near that volume early in the new campaign. Brunson is averaging only 5.0 attempts from long range per game entering play on Tuesday and has yet to make more than 2 attempts in any individual contest.

Detroit has allowed the 10th-lowest success rate on 3-pointers so far this year after being the league’s best perimeter defense during the 2025-2026 campaign. The likely return of Ausar Thompson only further reduces the likelihood that Brunson clears this number tonight.
