NBA Player Props Today – Friday, December 1, 2023
- Kyrie Irving Over/Under 32.5 Points
- Zach Collins Over/Under 13.5 Points
- Jrue Holiday More/Less Than 6.0 Rebounds
Kyrie Irving Over/Under 32.5 Points
Luka Doncic will not play for the Mavericks tonight due to personal reasons, but this market number is still too high for Kyrie Irving. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Irving is averaging only 29.6 points per 36 minutes of action this season with Doncic off of the floor. Last year, Irving averaged only 26.1 points per 36 minutes of action with Doncic off of the floor. According to props.cash, Irving has eclipsed this market number in only five of his last 25 games without Doncic. The Grizzlies are a bad basketball team, but they rank 10th in defensive efficiency and 14th in opponent free throws allowed per game since November 15. This is not exactly the most favorable matchup in the world for Irving, making the under on his points prop a worthwhile risk here.
- PICK: Irving UNDER 32.5 Points (-110), BetMGM
Zach Collins Over/Under 13.5 Points
According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Zach Collins is averaging 17.4 points per 30 minutes of action this season with Victor Wembanyama off of the court. On the season, Collins is averaging 10.4 field goal attempts per game – 3.2 of which are coming in the restricted area, 2.4 of which are coming in the paint, with another 3.8 attempts coming on above-the-break three-point attempts. The Pelicans defense ranks 17th in opponent field goal percentage in the restricted area, 29th in opponent field goal percentage in the paint, and has allowed the 6th-most field goal attempts on above-the-break three-pointers of any team in the league this year. Collins should have every opportunity to get the job done in this spot.
- PICK: Collins OVER 13.5 Points (-121), Caesars
Jrue Holiday More/Less Than 6.0 Rebounds
Entering play on Friday, Jrue Holiday is averaging 7.4 rebounds per game for the season. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Holiday is averaging 7.5 rebounds per 36 minutes of action this season with Kristaps Porzingis off of the court. Holiday is leading the Celtics with 13.7 rebound chances per game this year, which makes it perplexing that other players on his team continue to be projected at higher numbers in the rebound department than Holiday on a nightly basis. There is no shortage of evidence indicating that Holiday has a mathematically probable chance of securing at least six boards again tonight.
- PICK: Holiday MORE THAN 6.0 Rebounds
