NBA Player Props Today – Friday, December 6, 2024
- Collin Sexton Over/Under 16.5 Points
- Khris Middleton Over/Under 14.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
- Chris Paul Over/Under 9.5 Assists
Collin Sexton OVER 16.5 Points (-118, Bally)
Jordan Clarkson has been ruled out for tonight’s tilt against the Trail Blazers, which should open the door for Collin Sexton to see an expanded workload. In 8 games with Clarkson unavailable this season, Sexton has eclipsed this number 5 times, including each of his last 3 such road games. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Sexton is averaging 21.6 points per 36 minutes this season with Clarkson off of the floor. If Sexton sees 30+ minutes of playing time, he should have a great chance to get the job done here.
Khris Middleton UNDER 14.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (+100, BetMGM)
Khris Middleton will finally return to action, making his season debut against the Celtics. However, expectations should be tempered for him in his first live action of the season. Middleton, now 33 years old, has an extensive injury history and is coming off of offseason surgery on both of his ankles. Rust could play a role here, in addition to the fact that he’s going to be playing on the road against a top-10 Boston defense. This line is likely too high for a player who is unlikely to see more than 15 minutes on Friday.
Chris Paul UNDER 9.5 Assists (-154, FanDuel)
Devin Vassell has officially been ruled out and Victor Wembanyama is listed as doubtful. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Chris Paul is averaging only 9.5 assists per 36 minutes of action this season with both players off of the floor. Paul gets a lukewarm matchup against the Kings, who rank near the league average in terms of opponent assists allowed this season. Paul had 10 assists against the Kings on December 2 but had only 14 potential assists in that contest. This is a tall number for him, even with Wembanyama likely out.
