Friday’s NBA slate features 9 games, with plenty of big stars scheduled to be in action, including Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, and more. Put another way, basketball fans shouldn’t be short on entertainment to begin their weekend.
The NBA tankathon continues as well, however, which once again has the NBA injury report filled with notable names. Alexandre Sarr, Keyonte George, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ivica Zubac, and Cooper Flagg have all been ruled out tonight.
As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Friday, February 20th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Friday, February 20th:
- Tre Johnson Over/Under 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
- Luka Doncic Over/Under 16.5 Rebounds + Assists
- LeBron James Over/Under 32.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Tre Johnson OVER 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-122, FanDuel)
Johnson played only 19 minutes in his first game out of the All-Star break, but he still managed to get up 12 shots in addition to making an impact on the glass and as a facilitator. Tonight, Washington will be without Kyshawn George, who played 19 minutes yesterday.
Johnson hasn’t played fewer than 22 minutes in any game this season in which George has been unavailable. According to CourtIQ, Johnson is averaging 13.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists (17.3 points + rebounds + assists) per 22 minutes this season with George off of the floor. He’s cleared this number in 8 of 9 contests with George inactive.
Of course, Johnson could play more than 22 minutes tonight too. His 22 minutes projection should be treated as a floor, with notable upside in a favorable matchup against an Indiana team that is also participating in this year’s NBA tankathon.
Luka Doncic UNDER 16.5 Rebounds + Assists (-122, FanDuel)
In 10 games with LeBron James and Austin Reaves active this season, Doncic has only cleared this number 3 times, with the last occurrence coming on December 7. Since trading away James Harden and Ivica Zubac, the Clippers have allowed the 5th-fewest rebounds and 5th-fewest assists per game to opposing guards.
This is an underrated defense that should be able to keep Doncic’s counting stats in check on Friday.
LeBron James UNDER 32.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110, BetMGM)
In 10 games this season with both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves active, James has cleared this number only 4 times, including only 2 times in 7 home contests.
Since trading James Harden and Ivica Zubac at the deadline, the Clippers rank 10th in defensive rating and 22nd in pace across a span of 6 games. A slower pace and an underrated defense are both working against James in this matchup, lending some value on the under.
