NBA Player Props for Friday, 2/27: Best Bets & Predictions Today

What kind of performances can we expect from AJ Green, Naji Marshall, and Mikal Bridges? Follow along as our NBA betting analyst, Nick Galaida, breaks down three of his favorite NBA prop bets for Friday, February 27th. Get all of Nick’s picks, including more NBA plays, by subscribing to the RotoGrinders Props & Pick’em package.
Friday’s NBA slate will feature 5 games, headlined by a pair of marquee matchups on ESPN. At 7:00 PM ET, the Cavaliers and Pistons will meet in what could be an Eastern Conference Finals preview. Following the conclusion of that game, the Nuggets and Thunder will battle in what could be a Western Conference Finals preview.
Of course, tonight’s exciting matchups are diminished somewhat by the NBA injury report. James Harden and Jamal Murray are both questionable as of this writing. Cooper Flagg and Donovan Mitchell have already been ruled out.
As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Friday, February 27th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Friday, February 27th:
- AJ Green Over/Under 3.5 Rebounds + Assists
- Naji Marshall Over/Under 20.5 Points
- Mikal Bridges Over/Under 14.5 Points
AJ Green OVER 3.5 Rebounds + Assists (-145, bet365)
Green has quietly been amassing a high number of opportunities on the glass and as a facilitator of late. Despite having 2 rebounds or fewer in 5 of his last 6 games, he’s had a pair of games in there with 8 rebound chances. As a facilitator, he has 4+ potential assists in 4 of his last 6 games.
Green should be in line for around 30 minutes again tonight against the Knicks, assuming the game script is somewhat competitive. He’s cleared this number in 32 of 45 games this season when playing at least 25 minutes and 19 of 25 games when playing at least 30 minutes.
Naji Marshall UNDER 20.5 Points (-112, bet365)
Marshall scored 36 points in 42 minutes on Thursday against the Kings, but it would be unwise to expect that type of performance from him on a consistent basis. Prior to Thursday, he had taken 13 or fewer shot attempts in 3 of his last 4 games. He’s only 1-for-12 from 3-point territory since February 12th.
In 9 games with Cooper Flagg inactive this season, Marshall has gone under this number in 5 of those games. He attempted more than 16 shots in only 1 of those games. Any amount of negative regression shooting the basketball is likely to keep him under on this points prop.
Mikal Bridges OVER 14.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)
Bridges has been a road warrior for the Knicks this season, averaging 18 points per game on 52.6% shooting. He’s scored 15+ points in 21 of the Knicks’ 29 road games, including 10 of 12 games in which their entire starting lineup has been healthy. He’s been blowout-proof too, scoring at least 15 points in all 4 of their road wins that have come by double digits.
