NBA Player Props Today – Friday, February 28, 2025

Jayson Tatum UNDER 8.5 Rebounds (-120, DraftKings)

Tatum has gone under this number in 10 of his last 13 games in which Kristaps Porzingis has played. During that time period, Tatum is averaging only 7.2 rebounds on 10.4 rebound chances, even including the 2 games that he has played with Porzingis inactive.

Cleveland has allowed the 3rd-fewest rebounds per game overall across their last 8 games and the 2nd-fewest rebounds per game to forwards in that stretch. The math favors the under in this spot.

Nikola Jokic OVER 27.5 Points (-108, FanDuel)

Entering play on Friday, Jokic is averaging 29.2 points per game this season, including 28.9 points per game on the road. This is a tough matchup for him against a Detroit team that ranks 4th in defensive rating during February, but the lower market number is already accounting for that.

If the Pistons have been relatively weak in any area defensively, it’s in the paint, where they have been closer to average than elite. This month, Detroit has allowed the 9th-most field goal attempts per game in the paint (non-restricted area), which is where Jokic takes the plurality of his shots on a nightly basis.

Jokic is capable of putting up strong numbers here, even against a good defensive unit.

Josh Hart OVER 5.5 Assists (-120, Bally)

Hart has been one of New York’s leading facilitators in recent weeks, ranking 2nd only behind Jalen Brunson in potential assists per game since the middle of January. Across the team’s last 15 games, Hart is one of only two players on the Knicks averaging more than 5.5 potential assists, which assures him a safe floor most nights as a facilitator.

Memphis has allowed the 3rd-most assists per game in the entire NBA during February, which makes this a solid matchup for Hart. He should be able to get the job done in this spot.
