NBA Player Props Today – Friday, March 1, 2024
- Stephen Curry Over/Under 28.5 Points
- Luka Doncic Over/Under 8.5 Rebounds
- Kristaps Porzingis Over/Under 7.5 Rebounds
Stephen Curry Over/Under 28.5 Points
According to Anthony Slater, the Warriors’ plane was delayed getting out of New York last night until nearly 5:00 a.m. ET due to a mechanical issue. As a result, the team didn’t arrive at their hotel in Toronto until after 7:00 a.m. ET. Stephen Curry finally had a strong scoring night yesterday against the Knicks, but he was still an inefficient 11-for-26 from the field and didn’t hit 30 points until the closing minutes of the contest. This evening, facing the Raptors on the second night of a back-to-back set, Curry could struggle – especially considering his likely lack of sleep. Curry has cleared this market number in only 10 of 26 road games this season, including only 4 of his last 15 games away from home. The under makes sense in this spot.
- PICK: Curry UNDER 28.5 Points (-125), DraftKings
Luka Doncic Over/Under 8.5 Rebounds
Luka Doncic has been rebounding at an elite level of late, but there are some reasons to think he could struggle on the glass this evening. Doncic popped up on the Mavericks’ injury report earlier today with a sprained left ankle, which means he could be playing this game at less than 100 percent health if he’s able to suit up. This is also a tough matchup for a guard, facing a Boston team that has limited guards from accumulating too many rebound chances in recent weeks. According to props.cash, 7 of the last 11 point guards to face the Celtics have gone under their pre-game market number for rebounds. Since the middle of February, only three guards have posted more than 11 rebound chances against Boston. The under appears to be a worthwhile risk here.
- PICK: Doncic UNDER 8.5 Rebounds (-122), FanDuel
Kristaps Porzingis Over/Under 7.5 Rebounds
Since January 1, Kristaps Porzingis is averaging only 6.6 rebounds on 13.1 rebound chances per game. According to props.cash, Porzingis has gone under this market number in 9 of his last 15 games overall, including 3 of his last 4 contests. Tonight, the Mavericks and Celtics should be able to put up a significant number of points, with both teams possessing highly efficient offensive attacks. Rebound chances could be down across the board in this matchup, which only further supports the under on this prop.
- PICK: Porzingis UNDER 7.5 Rebounds (-135), Bet365
