NBA Player Props Today – Friday, March 7, 2025

Isaiah Collier UNDER 8.5 Assists (-155, BetMGM)

Collier has played himself into a sizable role with Utah this season and has really taken off since the new year, averaging 8.3 assists and a team-leading 14.4 potential assists per game across his last 30 contests. That being said, his opportunities have been lacking to begin the month of March.

In his last 3 games, Collier is averaging only 5.3 assists on 12.7 potential assists, and that includes a pair of matchups against poor defenses. Tonight, he will have to contend with a Toronto team that has quietly turned things up a notch across their last 8 games, ranking in the top half of the league in defensive rating. During that stretch, the Raptors have allowed the 8th-fewest assists per game.

The math favors the under.

Shaedon Sharpe UNDER 20.5 Points (-115, bet365)

Sharpe has been excellent in an expanded role of late, scoring 20+ points in 4 of his last 5 games since seeing his role increase. Still, it’s worth wondering how long he will be able to sustain his recent run of efficiency.

Sharpe enters play this evening as a career 45.2% shooter from the field, including 33.8% from 3-point territory. In his last 5 games, he’s shot 50% or better 3 times and 47.1% or better 4 times. In the lone game that he didn’t exceed his career efficiency norms, he scored only 18 points in overtime against the Cavaliers.

Even with Oklahoma City resting a few starters tonight, they still project to be a strong defensive unit. Sharpe is due for some shooting regression sooner rather than later – it could happen as soon as tonight.

James Harden UNDER 25.5 Points (-120, DraftKings)

Harden delivered a vintage performance on Wednesday against the Pistons, scoring 50 points in 38 minutes of action with Norman Powell out of the lineup. Though it may be tempting to think that Harden is on the verge of turning the clock all the way back to his MVP-caliber days, it’s highly doubtful that we see anything close to that level of production from him on a nightly basis regardless of the status of Powell.

On Wednesday, Harden attempted 20 free throws and went 6-for-13 from 3-point territory – both outlier performances. He also shot 58.3% from the floor on 24 attempts. Those are impressive numbers for Harden, even without Powell healthy. In 15 games played without Powell this season, Harden has scored 26+ points only 4 times and only once on his home floor.

The Knicks are a good defensive team, and they might even be a little bit better on the defensive end of the floor without Brunson active. Harden is likely to find it difficult to find room to score the basketball in this matchup.
