NBA Player Props Today – Friday, November 29, 2024

Anthony Davis OVER 26.5 Points (-115, DraftKings)

Anthony Davis has graduated to the clear No. 1 option in the Lakers’ offense on a nightly basis. Entering play on Friday, he is averaging a team-high 29.2 points per game, with no other player higher than LeBron James at 22.9 points per night. Davis has been even better in NBA Cup games, averaging 30.3 points per game during pool play to date. Oklahoma City’s top-ranked defense presents a formidable challenge for anyone, but Davis should have plenty of volume tonight in this matchup. He should have a good chance to get the job done.

LeBron James UNDER 9.5 Assists (-150, FanDuel)

LeBron James has cleared this market number in 9 of his last 14 games, but he could have a difficult time continuing that trend this evening in a tough matchup against the Thunder. Across their last 8 games, Oklahoma City has allowed the 2nd-fewest assists per game to opposing forwards. Overall this year, no team has allowed fewer assists per game to opposing forwards than the Thunder. There is also the matter that James has been converting potential assists to actual assists at a likely unsustainable rate. He’s posted 15 potential assists or fewer in 4 of his last 5 games in which tracking is available. The math favors the under.

Malik Monk OVER 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115, Bet365)

DeMar DeRozan has been ruled out for tonight’s contest against the Trail Blazers, which should result in Malik Monk once again seeing an increase in responsibilities across the board. On Wednesday, Monk played in his first game of the year without DeRozan, scoring 27 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and dishing out 9 assists in 35 minutes of action. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Monk is now averaging 21.5 points per 36 minutes this season with DeRozan off of the floor. Portland has improved defensively compared to previous years, but they still aren’t a prohibitive matchup for betting purposes. This is good value for Monk, who should see plenty of usage this evening.
