Monday’s NBA slate features 8 games beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET with the Bucks against the Cavaliers on Peacock.

As always, it’s important to keep an eye on the NBA injury report ahead of tip-off. Jalen Brunson, Bam Adebayo, and Kawhi Leonard are just a few notable names who have already been ruled out for Monday’s action. The absence of such important players has the potential to create significant value in the player prop and DFS markets.

Below, you can find 3 of my favorite picks for Monday, November 17th!

Best NBA Player Props for Monday, November 17th

Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET on Monday, November 17th:

Landry Shamet OVER 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115, BetMGM)

On Friday, the Knicks didn’t have Jalen Brunson available, and OG Anunoby left with an injury after playing only 5 minutes.Shamet was the clear benefactor of those absences, scoring 36 points and taking 19 shot attempts in 37 minutes off of the bench.

According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Shamet averaged 16.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per 36 minutes last season with both Brunson and Anunoby off of the floor. In his last game against Miami, Shamet had 9 rebound chances and 7 potential assists.

There is room for Shamet to experience some negative regression as a scorer and still clear this number on Monday against Miami.

Pelle Larsson OVER 15.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115, BetMGM)

In 5 games with Bam Adebayo out of the lineup this season, Pelle Larsson has scored 19, 16, 10, 9, and 14 points. He’s had at least 7 field goal attempts in each of those games as well. He’s totaled at least 18 points + rebounds + assists in 4 of those games.

According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Larsson is averaging 11.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per 24 minutes with Adebayo off of the floor this year. There is some concern as to whether or not Larsson will be able to sustain his recent shooting efficiency from the floor, but he should have enough playing time this evening to get near 10 shot attempts.

It’s potentially worthwhile to include rebounds and assists considering Larsson has had as many as 5 rebounds and 6 assists in a game this month. At such a low number, any spike in contributions on the glass or as a facilitator could help the cause tremendously on this prop.

Jalen Smith OVER 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-105, BetMGM)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONBETMGM

Smith is quietly averaging 8.0 field goal attempts per game in November, including 4.7 shots per game from beyond the arc. In limited playing time, he’s managed a pair of double-doubles and has had as many as 4 assists in an individual game.

Playing on the road in Denver as the 2nd leg of a back-to-back set certainly isn’t ideal, but it’s worth noting that Chicago was also playing in relatively high altitude on Sunday in Utah, so this shouldn’t be as big of a fatigue difference as normal – even accounting for overtime.

If anything, Smith, who played only 17 minutes yesterday, could be in line for slightly more minutes after veteran Nikola Vucevic played 41 minutes against the Jazz. This isn’t the most favorable of matchups, but if Smith ends up playing north of 20 minutes, it’s difficult to see this play not cashing.
