The NBA has a relatively small 6-game slate on Saturday, but there are still plenty of stars in action tonight, including LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Luka Doncic, and Stephen Curry. The two most highly-anticipated matchups of the night feature the Lakers against the Timberwolves at 8:00 p.m. ET and the Mavericks against the Warriors at 8:30 p.m. ET, giving bettors plenty of time to get a few wagers placed before tip off, even if they had a late start to the day!

Jonathan Kuminga Over/Under 4.5 Rebounds
Since Draymond Green last played on December 12, Jonathan Kuminga is averaging 5.1 rebounds and 9.4 rebound chances per contest. In those seven games, Kuminga has four games with at least 5 rebounds and has yet to have a game with fewer than 4 boards, indicating that he is consistently competitive at this market number. On Saturday, he gets a favorable matchup against a Mavericks team that ranks 25th in rebound percentage and 27th in opponent rebounds per game during December. Kuminga should have every opportunity to deliver for us in this spot.

Anthony Davis Over/Under 12.5 Rebounds
Anthony Davis is second in the NBA on the glass this season, averaging 12.3 rebounds per game, but he has been less effective on the road than at home. Davis is averaging 12.8 rebounds per game at home compared to 11.7 rebounds per game on the road, with fewer rebound chances on the road further supporting his diminished numbers. Tonight, Davis gets an extremely tough matchup against the Timberwolves, which rank 3rd in rebound percentage and have allowed the fewest opponent rebounds per game across the last 30 days. Only two centers have managed more than 12 rebounds against the Timberwolves this month, making the under a worthwhile risk here.

Klay Thompson Over/Under 18.5 Points
There was a point in time in which Klay Thompson was a near auto-bet to go over his points prop at home, but he has struggled mightily in front of his home fans this year, averaging only 16.1 points per game on 38.1% shooting from the floor. He has managed at least 20 points in four of his last five home games, but he has a tougher matchup tonight against a Mavericks defense that has allowed only one opposing shooting guard to score more than 20 points in the last 10 days. Thompson would need an unusually efficient night from the field to threaten for 20 points on Saturday. Probability favors the under on his points prop.
