NBA Player Props Today – Saturday, March 9, 2024

Kevin Durant Over/Under 28.5 Points

Devin Booker was upgraded to questionable for tonight’s game and seems to have a legitimate opportunity to take the floor, which could mean a decrease in usage for Kevin Durant. Durant has scored at least 30 points in 8 of 13 games without Booker on the floor this season compared to only 16 of 43 games with Booker active. Since the All-Star Break, the Celtics own the 6th-best defensive rating of any team in the league, making this a worthwhile risk either way. If Booker plays, this number almost certainly drops ahead of tip off. If Booker doesn’t play, a strong Boston defense could still make life difficult on Durant in this spot.

Jaylen Brown Over/Under 24.5 Points

Jaylen Brown is coming off of a 41-point performance against the Nuggets, which has inflated this market number too much heading into Saturday. On the season, Brown is averaging only 22.8 points per game on the road, with significantly worse shooting percentages on the road compared to at home. According to props.cash, Brown has cleared this market number in only 10 of 28 road contests this season. The math favors the under here.

Jrue Holiday Over/Under 12.5 Points

Jrue Holiday has seen his scoring regress as the season has gone on, averaging only 11.2 points per game in February and only 10.5 points per game to begin March. Since February 1, Holiday is averaging only 11.0 points per game on 8.0 shots per contest. The Suns have been vulnerable defending opposing guards of late, but Holiday simply hasn’t had the volume to indicate that he’s going to clear this market number on a consistent basis. He also doesn’t see much of a scoring bump if Kristaps Porzingis doesn’t play, making the under worth considering on Saturday.
