NBA Player Props Today – Sunday, January 7, 2024

Jerami Grant Over/Under 20.5 Points + Assists

According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Jerami Grant is averaging 21.3 points and 3.2 assists per 36 minutes of action this season with Deandre Ayton off of the floor. Though Grant has gone under this market number in three consecutive games, it has been due to the fact that the Trail Blazers have lost by 21 points to the Suns, 29 points to the Mavericks, and 36 points to the Mavericks – limiting Grant to 25 minutes or fewer in each of those games.

On Friday, Grant had 21 points + assists at the half before the game ran away from Portland. Assuming the Trail Blazers have some level of professionalism in them, they should be able to keep today’s game against the Nets competitive into the second half, allowing Grant more than enough time to make good on his excellent per-minute production without Ayton.

RJ Barrett Over/Under 15.5 Points

Since being traded to the Raptors, RJ Barrett has scored 19 points, 14 points, and 14 points, attempting 12 field goals in two of those three contests. Assuming we continue to see Barrett be aggressive on the offensive end of the floor on Sunday, he will have a great opportunity to eclipse this market number against a Warriors defense that has been victimized by opposing small forwards in recent weeks. Since Christmas alone, Golden State has allowed 19 points to Michael Porter Jr., 17 points to Jaime Jaquez, 18 points to Josh Green, 16 points to Tim Hardaway Jr., 25 points to Franz Wagner, 19 points to Peyton Watson, and 18 points to Kevin Knox II. This is a great matchup for Barrett, and it should pay dividends if he is efficient with his opportunities.

Jamal Murray Over/Under 2.5 Three-Pointers Made

During the last month of action, the Pistons rank 27th in opponent 3-point percentage, making this a very appealing matchup for Jamal Murray. In 14 home games this year, Murray has eclipsed this market number 8 times. Dating back to the beginning of last year, Murray has covered this market number at a 58% clip playing in front of his home fans. Following an 0-for-6 performance from beyond the arc on Friday against the Magic, we are getting a discount on the line here at plus money, which makes this even more enticing for bettors.
