CJ McCollum has been playing at an extremely high level since Brandon Ingram last played for the Pelicans. In 10 such games, McCollum is averaging 26.7 points and 5.6 assists – both of which lead the team during that stretch. Entering play on Thursday, McCollum has scored at least 29 points in four consecutive games, with at least 19 field goal attempts in each of those contests. His recent volume should afford him plenty of opportunities to eclipse this market number tonight.

The Pelicans have been somewhat vulnerable around the rim of late, but this is still a tall number for a player who simply hasn’t had much volume in recent weeks. We will live with the results.

Very few forwards have had tremendous success on the glass in recent weeks against the Kings, which only further adds to the reasons to like the under here.
