NBA Player Props for Thursday, 2/12: Best Bets & Predictions Today

What kind of performances can we expect from Aaron Wiggins, Caleb Martin, and LeBron James? Thursday’s 3-game NBA slate will be the final regular season action before this weekend’s All-Star festivities.
Even on a small slate, the NBA injury report remains busy. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Keyonte George, Lauri Markkanen, Luka Doncic, and Cooper Flagg are among the notable names who have already been ruled out.
As always, be sure to use tools like CourtIQ and our NBA starting lineups page to evaluate how injuries impact usage and to search for inefficiencies in the player prop and DFS markets.

Best NBA Player Props for Thursday, February 12th
Here are my top player prop bets for today, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 PM ET on Thursday, February 12th:
- Aaron Wiggins Over/Under 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
- Caleb Martin Over/Under 2.5 Assists
- LeBron James Over/Under 6.5 Rebounds
Aaron Wiggins UNDER 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110, BetMGM)
Wiggins played 25 minutes last night on the front half of a back-to-back set for the Thunder, but it’s no guarantee that he sees such extended run again this evening, especially if the Thunder find themselves in a more competitive game script.
Wiggins has played 4 games this season with Chet Holmgren active and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander inactive. He’s gone under this number in each of those 4 contests.
Caleb Martin OVER 2.5 Assists (-117, DraftKings)
This season, Martin has played at least 21 minutes in all 3 games that Cooper Flagg has missed. He’s played 29+ minutes in 2 of those 3 contests. In all 3 of those games, he’s had at least 5 assists and 6 or more potential assists.
According to CourtIQ, Martin is averaging 2.6 assists per 21 minutes this season with Flagg and Anthony Davis off of the floor (Davis was recently traded to Washington). This should be treated as his floor projection, with obvious upside if he sees closer to 30 minutes. This matchup is good for Martin, facing a Lakers team that has allowed the 4th-most assists per game to forwards since Luka Doncic has been out.
LeBron James OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-110, BetMGM)
This season, James has played 32 minutes and 35 minutes in the 2 games he’s played with both Luka Doncic and Deandre Ayton unavailable. In those games, he’s managed 9 rebounds on 12 rebound chances against the Trail Blazers and 7 rebounds on 12 rebound chances against the Warriors.
According to CourtIQ, James is averaging 7.7 rebounds per 32 minutes this season with Doncic and Ayton off of the floor. Tonight, he draws a favorable matchup against the Mavericks, a team that ranks 21st in rebound% and has allowed the 3rd-most rebounds per game across their last 8 contests.
Assuming he plays north of 30 minutes this evening, he should have a great chance to clear this number.
