NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, March 6, 2025

Coby White UNDER 21.5 Points (-110, bet365)

Nikola Vucevic and Lonzo Ball have been ruled out for tonight’s action against Orlando, but this number is still priced too highly for White on Thursday. Since Zach LaVine was traded to the Kings in late January, White is averaging only 19.6 points per 36 minutes with Vucevic and Ball off of the floor, according to CourtIQ.

In 2 games to begin March, White has scored 26 points against the Pacers and 25 points against the Cavaliers, but the Magic arguably have the best defense compared to those matchups. Across their last 8 games, Orlando has held opposing guards to the 4th-fewest field goal attempts per game and the 4th-lowest field goal percentage in the entire NBA. We could see some negative regression for White.

Cam Thomas OVER 2.5 Assists (-145, DraftKings)

Entering play on Thursday, Thomas has recorded 3+ assists in 13-of-21 games this season, including 4-of-7 home games. He’s played sparingly since November due to injury, but he looked great on Tuesday night against the Spurs in only 26 minutes and has an opportunity to build on that showing tonight.

Thomas led all Brooklyn players with 6 assists and 12 potential assists in his return to action, and he could be looking to play more of a role as a facilitator down the stretch of the regular season. Golden State’s defense has been much improved since acquiring Jimmy Butler, but they are still not a terrible matchup for opposing guards in terms of assists. This is good value, and alt-lines could be worthy of consideration. The market might be behind the 8-ball with Thomas’ new role on the team.

Jalen Brunson UNDER 7.5 Assists (-135, bet365)

As of late, the Lakers have been one of the worst matchups in the league for opposing guards when it comes to assists. During their last 8 games, only the Trail Blazers have allowed fewer assists per game to guards. Brunson has gone under this market number in 18-of-29 road games this season, including 8 consecutive road games entering play on Thursday evening. This is another tough spot for him, creating some value on the under once again.
