NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, March 7, 2024

Jayson Tatum Over/Under 27.5 Points

We hit the under on the points prop for Tatum on Tuesday against the Cavaliers, and we are running things back tonight in a matchup against the Nuggets. Entering play on Thursday, Tatum is averaging only 27.1 points per game this season, including only 26.9 points per game on the road. In his last 23 road games, Tatum has eclipsed this market number only 8 times. Playing in the altitude against the defending champions, the under is a worthwhile risk here.

Jaden McDaniels Over/Under 12.5 Points

Karl-Anthony Towns will miss tonight’s contest for the Timberwolves due to a knee injury, but this market number is still too high for McDaniels. According to CourtIQ, McDaniels has not been a major beneficiary of Towns being off of the floor this season, averaging only 12.1 points per 36 minutes of action in such situations. Even in a matchup against the defensively-challenged Pacers, the under makes sense in this spot.

PJ Washington Over/Under 13.5 Points

Washington has scored at least 13 points in each of his last 4 games, but he still hasn’t played particularly well during that stretch. He is shooting only 44.7% from the field in March, and it’s worth noting that his team has lost each of their last 4 games in which Washington has seen 35+ minutes. It seems more probable than not that Washington begins to see a reduction in shot attempts or minutes, assuming his efficiency doesn’t improve. This market number is likely too high.
