NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, November 21, 2024

LaMelo Ball OVER 25.5 Points (-125, FanDuel)

Ball had a season-low 12 points on Tuesday against the Nets, due in part to him getting benched late in the game. The good news for bettors is that Ball is available for a discount this evening, relative to his prices earlier this week. By all accounts, this appeared to be a one-time statement made by his head coach, rather than an ongoing reduction in minutes. This season, Ball has eclipsed this market number in 9 of 11 games in which he’s played 30+ minutes. Detroit’s defense is significantly improved compared to last season, but they are still allowing a lot of volume to guards, and they have struggled at times to defend without fouling. This is a nice bounce-back opportunity for Ball.

Franz Wagner OVER 5.5 Rebounds (-125, Bally)

Since Paolo Banchero last played, Wagner is averaging 6.2 rebounds and 10.3 rebound chances per game. During that 11-game stretch, Wagner has totaled 6+ rebounds in more than half of his games and has recorded 10+ rebound chances 6 times. The Lakers have been among the worst teams in the NBA on the glass in recent weeks, ranking 28th in rebound percentage and allowing the 4th-most rebounds per game to forwards during their last 8 games. This is a very playable number for Wagner, given the matchup.

LeBron James OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-125, DraftKings)

LeBron had only 2 rebounds this past Tuesday against the Jazz, which is affording bettors a buy-low spot on his rebounding prop tonight against Orlando. LeBron enters play averaging 8.1 rebounds per game this season, including 8.9 rebounds per game in November. Prior to playing the Jazz, LeBron was averaging 13.1 rebound chances per game across his last 8 games, ranking behind only Anthony Davis on the Lakers.
