NBA Player Props Today – Thursday, October 31, 2024
- Zach Edey Over/Under 7.5 Points
- Victor Wembanyama Over/Under 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
- James Harden Over/Under 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Zach Edey OVER 7.5 Points (-120, DraftKings)
Edey isn’t playing a lot of minutes yet for the Grizzlies, but he’s been very productive in his limited time. Yesterday, Edey played only 18 minutes, but he had 9 field goal attempts, leading to 13 points. He’s now scored 8+ points in 2 of his last 4 games, with no games of fewer than 6 points during that stretch. Playing on the second night of a back-to-back set, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Edey get a little bit more time on the court. If he gets to 20 minutes, he should be able to get the job done.
Victor Wembanyama UNDER 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110, BetMGM)
Wembanyama has not gotten off to a great start to the new campaign, at least relative to the lofty preseason expectations that many people had for him. Tonight, he will be playing on the second night of a back-to-back set, and in high altitude no less. As a rookie, Wembanyama cleared this market number in only 24 of 71 games, including only 2 of 8 games played on zero days rest. The math strongly favors the under.
James Harden OVER 38.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115, FanDuel)
Harden went under this market number last night for the first time this season, but he still managed 34 PRA, despite shooting an inefficient 6-for-18 from the field and attempting a season-low 4 free throws. Tonight, he will face a Phoenix defense that ranks 20th in opponent free throw attempts per game. The Suns’ defense also ranks worse than the league average in opponent rebounds per game allowed to guards and opponent assists allowed per game to guards. If Harden experiences any amount of positive regression in terms of shooting efficiency, this could be an easy cash.
