NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, February 7, 2024

Jayson Tatum Over/Under 27.5 Points

During the last 30 days of action, the Hawks rank 22nd in defensive rating, 20th in opponent 3-point attempts per game allowed, and 27th in opponent 3-point percentage. Even more appealing from a betting perspective is the fact that Atlanta has played at the 2nd-quickest pace of any team in the league during that stretch. Jayson Tatum has been relatively underwhelming of late, by his standards, but he still averaged 26.9 points per game in January and scored 34 points in his most recent contest against the Grizzlies. The Hawks have struggled to defend elite-scoring forwards in recent weeks, allowing 35 points to Kevin Durant and 36 points to Kawhi Leonard in the first week of February alone. Tatum has legitimate spike potential in this spot.

Cade Cunningham Over/Under 6.5 Assists

Entering play on Wednesday, Cade Cunningham is averaging 6.7 assists per game on the road this season, but that number has been trending up since the beginning of 2024. In his last 5 road games, Cunningham is averaging 7.2 assists and 14 potential assists. Tonight, he gets a favorable matchup against a Sacramento team that ranks 14th in defensive rating and 16th in assists allowed per game across the last month. If his teammates can knock down a reasonable number of shots this evening, Cunningham should be able to deliver for us.

Scottie Barnes Over/Under 7.5 Rebounds

Scottie Barnes draws a favorable matchup tonight against the Hornets, which rank 27th in rebound percentage and 25th in opponent rebounds allowed per game during the last month, but that still might not be enough for him to secure 8 rebounds. Barnes has gone under this market number 13 times in his last 15 games and 19 times in his last 30 games overall. Since January 1, Barnes is averaging only 11.1 rebound chances per game, which is simply not enough volume for him to consistently flirt with a market number this high. This is a system bet that we will continue to hit until given a reason to change course.
