NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, January 1, 2025
- Bam Adebayo to Record a Double Double
- Coby White Over/Under 19.5 Points
- DeMar Derozan Over/Under 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Bam Adebayo to Record a Double-Double (-135, DraftKings)
In 20 games that Jimmy Butler has played this season, Bam Adebayo has 17 games with 10+ points and 14 games with 10+ rebounds. According to RotoGrinders CourtIQ, Adebayo is averaging 14.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per 36 minutes with Butler on the floor this year.
Tonight, Adebayo gets a favorable matchup against a New Orleans frontcourt that is extremely bereft of talent. Since the beginning of December, only two teams have allowed more rebounds per game than the Pelicans. Ivica Zubac, Alperen Sengun, Nikola Jokic, and Karl-Anthony Towns have each totaled 10+ rebounds against New Orleans in the last 10 days alone. This is good value for Adebayo to secure a double-double.
Coby White OVER 19.5 Points (-112, FanDuel)
Coby White is averaging only 17.3 points per game since the beginning of December, but this is an extremely favorable matchup for him against a Washington team that ranks 25th in defensive rating and 6th in pace during that time period. In the last month, only two teams are allowing more field goal attempts per game and 3-point attempts per game to guards than the Wizards. It wouldn’t be surprising to see White have more volume than usual tonight, giving this play good value – especially if Zach LaVine ends up limited in any sense.
DeMar DeRozan OVER 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115, FanDuel)
Keegan Murray is officially listed as doubtful. Murray has only missed one game this season, but in that game, DeRozan had 18 shot attempts, 8 rebound chances, and 8 potential assists. According to the RotoGrinders CourtIQ tool, DeRozan is averaging 24.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per 36 minutes with Murray off of the court this season. Assuming DeRozan sees north of 30 minutes in this game, he should have every opportunity to get the job done.
