NBA Player Props Today – Wednesday, March 12, 2025
- Scottie Barnes Over/Under 21.5 Points
- Jayson Tatum Over/Under 27.5 Points
- Bradley Beal Over/Under 4.5 Assists
Scottie Barnes UNDER 21.5 Points (-120, bet365)
In March, Barnes is averaging only 28.8 minutes per game, which is down significantly from his 34.9 minutes per game in February. Considering Toronto’s record and the fact that Barnes (still only 23 years old) is an integral part of the organization’s future, it seems as though the team is simply trying to keep him healthy down the stretch while simultaneously improving the team’s odds in the draft lottery. If that is the case, Barnes’ minutes aren’t likely to be coming back anytime soon- and neither is his scoring production. Entering play on Wednesday, Barnes is averaging 16.2 points per game this month. This points prop is simply too high if he’s not going to play more than 30 minutes most nights.
Jayson Tatum UNDER 27.5 Points (-115, bet365)
Tatum enters play on Wednesday having scored 35+ points in each of his last 2 games, but his production could take a hit this evening if all of Boston’s starters end up taking the floor. In games that Kristaps Porzingis and Jaylen Brown have been active, Tatum has gone under 27 points in 15 of 24 instances, including 7 of 11 games at home. Oklahoma City has one of the league’s best defenses as well, which only projects to make life more difficult for Tatum.
Bradley Beal UNDER 4.5 Assists (-162, Bally)
Beal is coming off back-to-back games with 6+ assists, but he’s converted potential assists to actual assists at an unsustainable rate in those games, making it unlikely we see that level of production continue. Beal had 9 assists last Friday against Denver but played 41 minutes in a game that went to overtime. Two days later, he had 6 assists against Dallas, but ranked 6th on his own team in potential assists, indicating that he’s still not among the team’s preferred facilitators. Expect regression for Beal in this category sooner or later- perhaps as soon as this evening.
