NBA Preseason Primer: Thursday, October 4th
Hello Grinders, Happy Thursday. The way I would approach NBA preseason is to use this article as a primer for the day and then rely on the Court Report if you can for the latest news right before tipoff. One thing about this slate – it’s a small two-game slate so I would recommend going light on this slate. We have some fun ones upcoming as soon as Friday, so maybe this is a day where you go outside and get some sunlight for the first time in two weeks. Maybe open a book, or a glass of your favorite beverage and just rela….oh who am I kidding, if you read this far you’re a degen.

Pacers vs Rockets
The Pacers play their first of four preseason games on Thursday. Per beat writer Scott Agness, Thaddeus Young is out and the starting lineup will likely be Darren Collison, Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, T.J. Leaf and Myles Turner:
There had already been talk of Young seeing fewer minutes this season as the team wants to roll more with Domantas Sabonis at the 4. T.J. Leaf will get the first crack at replacing him in the lineup.
