NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions for Monday (11/18)

Bridges of the Knicks

I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections, but we can also find an extra edge by watching games and recognizing certain intricacies before the market is able to react. Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.

We have 8 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 11/18. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Monday evening.

First… Sign Up to Make NBA PrizePicks Picks

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry! PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Hawks vs. Kings NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Hawks vs. Kings NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

DeAaron Fox More Than 32.5 Points

With DeMar DeRozan (out), Domantas Sabonis (doubtful), and Malik Monk (out) all going to be on the sidelines, our projections are giving this play one of the biggest edges of the slate. In the 61 minutes Fox has played this season without those 3 players on the court, he has posted a silly 49% usage rate en route to 48.5 points per 36 minutes.

Small sample? Sure. Unsustainable? You bet. But still…

Bulls vs. Pistons NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Bulls vs. Pistons NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Cade Cunningham More Than 22.5 Points

Cade averages 23.1 points per game this season. The games that he misses this number is usually a result of a lack of shooting efficiency.

Well, opponents facing the Bulls this season have the highest offensive efficiency in the league, so I certainly like his chances tonight. He was well on his way to crushing this number yesterday too, but the Pistons actually blew someone out for a change (which cost Cade several 4th quarter minutes).

Wizards vs. Knicks NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Wizards vs. Knicks NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Mikal Bridges Less Than 21.5 Points + Assists

To the surprise of no one (now that his head coach is Tom Thibodeau), Bridges is averaging a career-high 38.8 minutes through 13 games as a Knick. And yet, his points per game average (16.5) is at its lowest since the 2021-22 season. That is what happens when you play with high-usage players like Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. Bridges’ assists per game this season (3.4) haven’t really budged from what he posted last season in Brooklyn (3.6) though.

The matchup against the worst defense in the league (118.8 defensive rating) is sure to be a boon, but our fantasy pick’em tool still has this as one of the better plays on PrizePicks. And if our projections like it, so do I.
