NBA Underdog Fantasy Player Predictions for Friday (2/7)

Dort of the Thunder

I’m here to give you a (free!) peek behind the curtain regarding some of the awesome things our NBA DFS projections team is cooking up by giving you my top picks for today’s NBA slate on Underdog Fantasy.

Every single pick you will find below is going to be based on what our projections say is a meaningful edge.

Please keep in mind that the NBA news cycle can get crazy, so what is listed below may become a better/worse play depending on how that news breaks. You can always stay up to date on exactly what a team’s rotation and depth chart will look like on a given day by heading to our NBA starting lineups page.

We have 7 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 2/7. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on Underdog this Friday evening.

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our Underdog promo code “GRINDERS” to unlock up to $1000 Bonus Cash courtesy of a generous deposit match. Underdog Fantasy – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Underdog Fantasy Top NBA Picks for 2/7

Now that you’re signed up, here are some of our top NBA picks on Underdog for 2/7 at a glance:

Raptors vs. Thunder NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Raptors vs. Thunder NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Lu Dort Lower Than 14.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

We’re projecting him to record 12.59 Points + Rebounds + Assists (PRA), which is lower than the 14.5 PRA set by Underdog. Our simulations also show this pick has a 6.3% edge and a 61.9% win probability, making it a statistically favorable choice.

Additionally, the Thunder are favored by almost 20 points vs. the Raptors, which could limit Dort’s opportunities if the Thunder don’t need to play their starters for a full allotment of minutes in this spot.

Cavaliers vs. Wizards NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Cavaliers vs. Wizards NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Ty Jerome Lower Than 3.5 Rebounds

We’re projecting him to grab 3.01 rebounds tonight, which is slightly lower than the 3.5 rebound mark. This projection aligns with his recent performance, as Jerome has averaged 3.0 rebounds over his last 10 games. Also, our simulations show this pick has a 6.6% edge and a 58.2% win probability, making it a statistically favorable choice.

I’ll side with our projection in this spot vs. the Pistons.

Bucks vs. Hawks NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Bucks vs. Hawks NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Trae Young Lower Than 41.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

We’re projecting him to record 37.61 Points + Rebounds + Assists (PRA) tonight, which is lower than the 41.5 PRA set by Underdog. Our simulations also show this pick has a 5.1% edge and a 62.9% win probability, which is hard to pass up. Over his last 10 games, Young has averaged 36.1 PRA, staying below the 41.5 line in six of those contests.

Additionally, the spot vs. the Bucks doesn’t particularly stand out, as they rank 11th in defensive rating this season. It’s a scary fade in a game with a 242.5 total, but our numbers tend to favor lower than here.
