NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday Night Football (Ravens at Chiefs)

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Lamar Jackson, Rashee Rice, Mark Andrews
headChopper: Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce
ncorfield8k: Rashee Rice, Travis Kelce, Lamar Jackson
Davis Mattek: Xavier Worthy, Lamar Jackson, Rashee Rice

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

Notorious: This isn’t a hot take by any means, but I am expecting a close and competitive game throughout. The Chiefs are the defending champs, and the Ravens lost to this team in the AFC Championship game last season. Expecting the game to be close eliminates my interest in full onslaught builds (5-1 stacks).

headChopper: There is actually a bit of uncertainty with the Ravens defense. They lost their defensive coordinator, who has been replaced by a 31-year-old, first-time play-caller. The strength of the team was also the linebackers, but they lost Patrick Queen. So, maybe the defense takes a step back. However, I think the game script will be a clock-grinding, slow-paced matchup that features good offensive efficiency, just not many opportunities.

ncorfield8k: My favorite script is the Chiefs defense struggles in the first game after losing L’Jarius Sneed, after a preseason in which several starters missed significant time. Meanwhile, the Ravens offense puts them on their heels and takes advantage of mistakes in the secondary. The Chiefs’ new-look offense can’t keep up against the Ravens’ stout defense.

Davis Mattek: The Chiefs pull ahead in the first half via long passes, which causes the Ravens to go away from Derrick Henry early. The Chiefs spent all offseason working on their deep passing game, and I would be stunned if Andy Reid doesn’t call at least one deep bomb to Xavier Worthy in their scripted plays. The last time these two teams played, the Ravens attempted only 8 RB rushes.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
