NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Monday Night Football Picks

DraftKings

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Sam Darnold, Tory Horton
headChopper: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Caleb Williams, Sam Darnold
ncorfield8k: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Luther Burden III, AJ Barner
Davis Mattek: Luther Burden III, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Caleb Williams

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I can’t wait to watch this game, as we have two of the best squaring off in Seattle. While I expect a close game, I’m having a difficult time finding plays that I feel good about on the Bears. It’s a brutal matchup for the passing game and the running game. For the Seahawks, they are without one of their key receivers (Rashid Shaheed), and they are facing a very beatable defense. I’m planning to lock in Sam Darnold with two of his pass catchers in each lineup, and I also want to include kicker Jason Myers. With Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price returning this week, I’m going to fully fade the Seahawks’ backfield.

headChopper: What a great game in real life and such a weird, bad game for DFS. I’m just going to lock Jaxon Smith-Njigba into the CPT/MVP spot. Outside of him, I’m not finding many matchups I want to attack or exploit, except for the defenses. So I’ll be overweight on both defenses and avoiding the Seattle running backs. D’Andre Swift isn’t an avoid because the workload should be there, but he’s not someone I’m banking on for big production. I think this slate is won by striking gold on one of the secondary WRs or TEs and having the right pieces around them. So AJ Barner, Tory Horton, Cooper Kupp, and Rome Odunze are all guys I’ll be overweight on.

ncorfield8k: I’ll have a lot of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who has the highest floor and highest ceiling on the slate. I’ll prioritize Bears WRs over Colston Loveland, as the WRs have seen their target share increase with Cole Kmet off the field, while Loveland has seen a sharp decrease as he is asked to block more without Kmet. I’ll also have a lot of AJ Barner, who has seen the biggest boost in target share on the Seahawks with Rashid Shaheed off the field.

Davis Mattek: The Seahawks are coming off a dominant defensive performance, but I think the Bears are capable of being the best offense in the NFL. How many times in Showdown history does the field NOT want to play a superstar 2nd-year WR coming off his best ever game? Luther Burden III and Jadarian Price are the ultimate angles tonight.
