NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Monday Night Football Picks

DraftKings

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Brock Purdy, George Kittle, Jayden Daniels
headChopper: Brock Purdy, Jayden Daniels, Mike Evans
ncorfield8k: Christian McCaffrey, Mike Evans, Brock Purdy
Davis Mattek: Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Mike Evans

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I’m focusing on small-field tournaments, but even in large-field tournaments, Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and Jayden Daniels are accounting for well over half of the projected ownership at CPT/MVP as of early in the day. My favorite way to be different is to use George Kittle at the multiplier spot. He already has great usage this season, and now Deebo Samuel is out and Mike Evans is dealing with a couple of injuries.

headChopper: I’m narrowing down my game scripts to just a couple of scenarios. Both involve San Francisco winning and moving the ball against this defense, primarily through the air. The difference is that one script features more Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle in the passing game, while the other features more WR involvement. On the Washington side, some variations of these scripts have them struggling to move the ball at all, while others have them racking up stats in garbage time.

ncorfield8k: I’ll lean into the 49ers at home. The matchup is just so much better for the 49ers, and there are strong plays at all value levels. At least one of Brandin Cooks, Jacob Cowing, or Christian Kirk should be in line for a significant role. And playing the values makes it easier to pay up for Mike Evans, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey, and Brock Purdy. On the Commanders side, the running backs are appealing point-per-dollar options, given their PPR upside.

Davis Mattek: I love games like this, where a passing offense with a narrow target tree faces one with a wider target tree. We can play like the 49ers cover the spread and wheel around Chig Okonkwo, Stefon Diggs, Treylon Burks, Austin Ekeler, and Antonio Williams on the Commanders side. I do think that the 49ers will make light work of this game and Rachaad White will be in for a huge PPR night.

What’s one rule/setting that you’re going to use in our NFL DFS optimizer (LineupHQ) or NFL DFS sims tool (SimLabs)?
