Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
headChopper: Justin Jefferson
Stevietpfl: Saquon Barkley
TJ Zwarych: Omarion Hampton
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: I’m really focusing on the Minnesota passing game and Chargers stacks. I can use the other teams to find one-offs and value plays, but I think the Vikings’ passing attack is going underappreciated with the new QB and facing a defense without its best player, Micah Parsons. The Chargers are also in a great spot with their matchup.
Stevietpfl: I typically focus on smaller-field tournaments, but the Week 1 afternoon slate is one of my favorites. I play more large-field tournaments in Week 1. You tend to see people chasing after not doing well in the earlier games, and you get people making lineups that aren’t well thought out. I want to focus on correlating my lineups as much as possible. I’ll be pairing my quarterbacks with at least one pass catcher and running it back with a running back or pass catcher from the opposing team. I like the idea of being overweight on Saquon Barkley and underweight on the Eagles’ passing game.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing two different lineups in various single-entry contests, both stacking the ARI/LAC game, but in different ways. In one, I’ll play Justin Herbert and the Chargers’ passing attack, while in the other, I’ll play Jacoby Brissett and the Cardinals’ passing game while running it back with Omarion Hampton.
