What is your favorite correlation and why?
Notorious: Jacoby Brissett + Michael Wilson and/or Trey McBride – The old adage “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” applies here, as Brissett has scored at least 20 fantasy points in all 5 of his starts this season. In those 5 games, McBride has averaged 8 receptions and 88 yards per game while catching 6 touchdowns. With Marvin Harrison Jr. out last week, Wilson caught 15 of his 18 targets for 185 yards. Harrison is out again this week against the Jaguars, who have been one of the best pass-funnel matchups in the league this season. I’m fine playing this stack without a bring-back, or you can play Jakobi Meyers from the other side and build a game stack.
stevietpfl: Jacoby Brissett + Trey McBride + Michael Wilson – With the Arizona defense playing the way it’s playing, this triple stack is far too cheap. With Marvin Harrison Jr. out in Week 11, Wilson had 18 targets and McBride had 11 targets. The Cardinals have already ruled Harrison out for this game against Jacksonville. In Brissett’s 5 starts, he has thrown for multiple touchdowns in every game. Arizona threw the ball 57 times against the 49ers last week. Jacksonville has allowed the 5th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. I was heavy on this stack last week, and I’m going right back to the well. Travis Etienne Jr. is my favorite bring-back option as of Friday afternoon, but I’ll be following the wide receiver news into the weekend. I do like Parker Washington as well.
Krayton: Jacoby Brissett + Trey McBride + Michael Wilson – Brissett was a phenomenal play last week, and I am looking to go right back to him in an even better matchup against the Jaguars, who have been an elite target for QBs this season. Wilson had 18 targets last week while McBride had 11, and they should be the focal point of the offense once again with Marvin Harrison Jr. sidelined. I like the idea of locking all three in and then building around this trio for tournaments with options projecting for lower ownership. Wilson is one of the top values on the slate once again, and even though McBride is getting priced up, we know he will be getting the volume of targets that the top wide receivers get.
ebeimfohr: Jared Goff + Jahmyr Gibbs + Jameson Williams – I love a good ol’ fashioned Lions bounce-back week. The NFL is wildly unpredictable, but arguably the most predictable element is the Lions putting up a boatload of points against a bad defense after they have a terrible performance. After the dreadful performance against the Eagles on SNF, they draw arguably the worst defense in football back home in the dome. They should name their score here, and they’ve always continued to be aggressive scoring points even in blowouts. With Dan Campbell calling the plays, the Lions have fed Williams targets at a much higher rate, and he has a TD in 3 straight games while averaging 91 receiving yards per game. Campbell has also given a bit more of the backfield to Gibbs, including a much bigger role in the pass game. Without Sam LaPorta, the production should be very condensed, and there’s going to be a whole lot of production.
ncorfield8k: Drake Maye + TreVeyon Henderson + Hunter Henry – In terms of schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed per game over the past 5 weeks, the Bengals are the best matchup in the NFL for running backs and tight ends and the 2nd-best matchup for quarterbacks. This sets up well for a unique Patriots stack, as Henry is a strong fantasy tight end who can excel in the right matchup, and Henderson has been great both on the ground and through the air, with 6 targets on 71.2% route participation over the last 2 games.
Davis Mattek: Jared Goff + Jahmyr Gibbs + Jameson Williams – We have already seen this script before. The Lions get shellacked in an outdoors game where Goff can’t get comfortable and the team only scores 1 touchdown. What happened after that Week 1 game against the Packers? The Lions put up 52 against the Chicago Bears. That same script is going to play out this week, so double stacks and even triple stacks with Goff are firmly on the menu. Since taking over play-calling, Dan Campbell has really emphasized using Williams on horizontal breaking routes, which makes him an undervalued DFS play.
Jordan Vanek: Drake Maye + Stefon Diggs + Hunter Henry – Over the last 6 weeks, the Bengals have allowed three different offenses to throw 4 passing TDs, and with Joe Burrow potentially returning, I prefer the Patriots’ passing game to TreVeyon Henderson. Losing Cam Taylor-Britt is huge – without him, opponents have completed 70.7% for 8.5 YPA and a 7.3% TD rate (per SIS). New England’s run game should force more single-high looks, opening big-play chances for Diggs, while Henry is my favorite option given Cincinnati has surrendered 14 touchdowns to TEs this season.
