What is your favorite correlation and why?
Notorious: Bo Nix + Courtland Sutton – We have my favorite quarterback and favorite receiver on the slate, so naturally they are my favorite correlation as well. The Broncos need to win to secure a spot in the playoffs and just so happen to draw one of the best matchups on the slate. The Bengals haven’t been able to stop the run or the pass this season and have allowed the 4th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Nix has averaged 18 fantasy points per game and has rushed for at least 20 yards in 7 games this season. His favorite target has been Sutton, who boasts a 23% target share and a 43% air yards share.
Stevietpfl: Bo Nix + Courtland Sutton – Denver can clinch a playoff spot and eliminate Cincinnati with a win. These are the types of games I like to target this time of the season. Since Week 10, the Bengals have allowed the 3rd-most passing yards per game. Nix has thrown at least 2 touchdowns in 5 of his last 6 games. On top of that, Cincinnati has allowed the 6th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Sutton has a 22.9% target share and 43.2% of the team’s air yards this season. He has a 31.3% first-read rate and continues to be the #1 option in this offense. He’s 15th in XFP/G among all WRs and TEs. I’m going to be overweight on Nix + Burrow and underweight on Justin Herbert.
Krayton: Bo Nix + Courtland Sutton – This is a big game with lots of playoff implications. Denver can clinch a spot in the playoffs and eliminate Joe Burrow and the Bengals, making this an elite spot to target. Nix and Sutton have found their groove the last 4 games, with Sutton catching 3 touchdowns and getting between 6-10 targets in each game during this stretch. Nix is averaging 2 touchdowns per game over the same period. He gets a great matchup against the Bengals, who are in the top 10 for allowing fantasy points per game to QBs. I also love targeting Marvin Mims for a cheap value play, as he is one of their elite playmakers, and we saw him go for over 20 fantasy points against the Browns a few weeks back. He will certainly get some big targets, and it just takes one to break the slate for us.

ebeimfohr: Drake Maye + Demario Douglas – I’m looking to save some money with my main stack, and it’s a great spot to do so with Maye and his cheap lead receiver. Maye has scored at least 15.48 DK points in each of the last 4 games, and with some weather concerns in the DEN/CIN game, it could open things up for Maye to be the optimal QB. Douglas is a better fit in PPR, but he is just a touchdown away in nearly every game from posting a strong fantasy score. The Chargers defense has struggled mightily for some time now, and this duo provides a sneaky high floor and ceiling combo at low projected ownership that also allows you to jam in studs around them.
ncorfield8k: Joe Burrow + JaMarr Chase + Audric Estime – Burrow and Chase are expensive, but they’re also one of the best duos in fantasy football. Even against a tough Denver defense, the upside is enormous. And because of the price, they’re not projecting for extremely high ownership. Estime is my preferred bring-back, as he is contrarian and brings the cost down on the stack.
Davis Mattek: Kyler Murray + Marvin Harrison – As the Cardinals’ season has ended, so has everyone’s love and affinity for Kyler and MHJ. On a 3-game slate with a real lack of value options, it is going to be difficult to fit in multiple players who have ceilings of 30+ fantasy points. MHJ, of course, had his best game of the season against the Rams back in September, which is not to say it will happen again in the same way, but he does still possess that ceiling.
Who’s your favorite contrarian play and why?
