NFL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Wild Card Weekend (Sunday/Monday Slate)

What is your favorite correlation on the slate and why?

Notorious: Matthew Stafford + Kyren Williams + Amon-Ra St. Brown – I am essentially treating this as a 2-game slate. I want no part of the PIT/BUF game outside of the defenses. Anyway, I’ll be overweight on the Rams-Lions game in particular. The Lions have an elite run defense but are very beatable through the air. Most will pair Stafford with Kupp or Nacua, but I like pairing him with Williams. This gives us the chance to secure all of the Rams’ offensive touchdowns. Williams might not be efficient on the ground in this matchup, but he’ll get all the goal-line work and will be heavily involved in the passing game. My favorite bring-back is St. Brown, who offers a high floor/ceiling combination every week.

squirrelpatrol: Jared Goff + Amon-Ra St. Brown + Puka Nacua – The PIT/BUF game could be heavily impacted by weather, and it shows in the game total. The GB/DAL game may feature more of the running games than the passing games. I’ll be heavily invested in the last game of the day, where I expect the Rams and Lions to put points on the board in a shootout. I don’t think the Rams will be able to stop St. Brown, and I like the idea of using Puka over Cooper Kupp if people are hesitant to use the rookie in his first playoff game.

Krayton: Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb – Dallas has the highest implied team total (29) on Sunday, and they are at home facing Green Bay’s defense, which is horrendous against the pass. Lamb has been nothing short of amazing all season long, and there’s enough good cheap value for me to go with this duo that has been putting up big numbers every week. It is also possible that Jaire Alexander might not play, making this an even better spot for Lamb. He’s expensive, but he’s put up 35.5, 44.2, and 28.2 DK points respectively in each of his last 3 games and has had double-digit targets in his last 6 games. And all the guy does is score TDs. On the other side, I will have exposure to Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, and Christian Watson (if he plays), as Jordan Love should be throwing a ton playing from behind.

ebeimfohr: Jared Goff + Amon-Ra St. Brown + Cooper KuppLAR/DET is the most attractive game for me, but there’s one particular aspect that boosts it over the GB/DAL game. Both defenses have been very strong pass funnels, meaning they have completely shut down the run while having more struggles against the pass. That’s the exact setup we want to try to create a shootout with tons of passing. With Sam LaPorta banged up, that should create a condensed target tree for Goff, primarily through ASB, but I really like including Jahmyr Gibbs and/or Jameson Williams in this stack as a way to take a slightly different path to the ceiling outcome. Gibbs is at his best in the pass game and in space, and he can break a huge play to speed up the game, as can Jamo. On the Rams side, with Kyren Williams a very chalky RB and the hype around rookie Puka Nacua, Kupp has become quite underrated, especially with time to rest from taking Week 18 off.

Stevietpfl: Matthew Stafford + Cooper Kupp + Demarcus Robinson – With the weather forecast in Buffalo, I’m going to be overweight on the LAR/DET game. As much as I like the Dak Prescott + CeeDee Lamb combo, I think it’s going to get more ownership. I’ll be pairing Stafford with Kupp, Robinson, and Puka Nacua. I will use the groups feature in LineupHQ to make sure I only get a max of two of these receivers on a team. Detroit is a pass-funnel defense, and this game is being played indoors. Not to mention, Stafford returns to Detroit for a chance to knock his former team out of the playoffs. I’m hoping Kupp over Nacua makes my Stafford double stacks different.

eys819: Jahmyr Gibbs + Amon-Ra St. Brown + Puka Nacua (or Cooper Kupp) – I will have multiple variations of this correlation, including using either QB and adding at least one other value pass catcher (e.g. Jameson Williams or Josh Reynolds if using Jared Goff, Demarcus Robinson or Tyler Higbee if using Matthew Stafford). Including Gibbs in my game stacks should be relatively contrarian and gives me even more exposure to what I expect to be the highest-scoring game on the slate. St. Brown and one of Nacua or Kupp will be in almost every lineup I build thanks to their potentially massive volume if this game goes back and forth as expected.

Who’s your top contrarian play on the board and why?
