What is your favorite game-script build and why?

Notorious: My preferred game script is one where the Texans are playing with a lead throughout. Joe Mixon is easily my favorite play on the slate. He’s had at least 24 carries in 5 of 7 games this season and is facing a defense that is 31st in PFF’s grades against the run and 32nd in EPA against the run. A Texans lead would really bode well for Mixon.

headChopper: A lopsided Texans blowout win is my preferred build. Dallas can’t do much on offense, and Houston has too many weapons for the Dallas defense to maintain solid play throughout the game. Eventually, the defense caves and the Cowboys get blown out. Dallas is battling too many injuries, poor coaching, and players who don’t want to play for this coach, and they’ve essentially rolled over.

ncorfield8k: While a Texans blowout is the likeliest scenario, it’s also a scenario most of the field will build for. I like the idea of flipping the script (somewhat) and playing for a close game. The Cowboys defense will be integral to these builds, along with Cooper Rush, CeeDee Lamb, and Rico Dowdle. Given that I think this will be a contrarian way to build, adding in one of the chalkier (and better projected) Texans is viable for this game script.

Davis Mattek: I think we see the Cowboys get crushed, BUT the issue is that the Texans are not the high-flying team that we saw last year. Bobby Slowik is just going to run the air out of the ball, and the Cowboys are not going to be able to get them off the field. One of C.J. Stroud, Nico Collins, Tank Dell, or Joe Mixon is going to hugely disappoint while the Cowboys turn the ball over and punt for the entire game.
