What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large field, single entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I love small-field and single-entry tournaments. I don’t expect the full Texans onslaught to be very popular, so that will be my favorite way to differentiate from the field. I’ll use C.J. Stroud, Joe Mixon, one wideout, Ka’imi Fairbairn, and the Texans D/ST as my pieces on Houston (with one fewer Texans player on FanDuel).

ncorfield8k: Large field – The Bears onslaught builds mentioned above is one way I’ll be playing it. The other way I’ll be playing it is the exact opposite in some lineups. Houston defense puts up a huge game. 5-1 Texans stack with both Texans D/ST and Ka’imi Fairbairn.

Davis Mattek: I will be doing a full MME build. The way that I am going to play different than the field is that I will have a lot more Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and DJ Moore than the field. I might even consider locking DJ Moore if it seems that the field will be treating him like he has leprosy. The field tends to think that lower-scoring games are ideal for kickers and D/STs, but what actually happens in lower-scoring games, especially on DK, is that each individual successful play is more valuable because the scoring itself is lower. Even in a game that goes under the total, I expect that Collins and Moore will be in the winning lineups.

Bobby Gomes: MME – My preferred approach will be MME, per usual. That way, I can touch on all of the fantasy relevant plays in a game I expect to be a track meet. There are several appealing pieces on both sides that will require me to spread out my exposure, and I won’t have a concentrated/limited player pool. MME historically has been my only approach so I can cover a variation of potential game scripts, especially in games with high totals and/or close spreads. Both D/STs and kickers are always a way to get different at a lower pOWN% if the oddsmakers are wrong and it turns into a lower-scoring rock fight. I will be using C.J. Stroud with 2-4 players in every lineup.

What’s one rule/setting that you’re using in LineupHQ or SimLabs to capitalize on the above strategies?
